Chia-Lin Simmons, Chief Executive Officer

Chia-Lin Simmons has over 26 years of experience as an executive for technology companies, with a background in mobility, digital, marketing and investments, corporate finance, law, and strategic planning. Most recently, she served as Chief Executive Officer and co-founder of LookyLoo, Inc., an AI social commerce company. Ms. Simmons also currently serves as a member of the Board of Directors for Servco Pacific Inc., a global automotive and consumer goods company with businesses in mobility, automotive distribution and sales, and entertainment, and for New Energy Nexus, an international organization that supports clean energy entrepreneurs with funds, accelerators and networks

Before co-founding and serving as Chief Executive Officer of LookyLoo, Inc., Ms. Simmons served as Head of Global Partner Marketing at Google Play, prior to which, she served as VP of Marketing & Content for Harman International.

Mark Archer, Chief Financial Officer

Mark Archer joined LogicMark, Inc. in July 2021 as Chief Financial Officer. 

He has spent over 40 years in consumer centric and technology businesses, serving in general management, finance, operations and marketing roles.  With over 30 years of experience as a Chief Financial Officer in both public and private companies ranging in size from start-ups to companies with multi-billion dollar revenue streams, Mr. Archer has worked with many top tier venture capital and private equity firms. 


Prior to joining Nxt-ID, Mr. Archer was CFO of Saxco International, a private equity owned middle market distribution company.  Mr. Archer was hired to restructure the business, execute a new go-to-market strategy, then sell the Company, which he successfully completed in 18 months.  Prior to joining Saxco International, Mr. Archer was President & CEO of SmartBee Controllers, a technology company manufacturing hardware products based on IoT technology, targeted at both the B2C and B2B space.  


Mr. Archer received his B.S. in Business Administration and M.B.A. in Finance, both from the University of Southern California, where he was a Presidential Scholar.  He serves on the Board of JaM Cellars, a Napa based wine and spirits company. 

Bennett Porter, Chief Marketing Advisor 

Bennett  Porter is LogicMark’s Interim CMO. Ms. Porter is a Board Member and Advisor to start-ups where she uses her experience in past marketing leadership roles to help companies build new categories.  Previously, she was the Chief Marketing Officer of energy start-up Booster Fuels and held executive marketing positions at SurveyMonkey and Yahoo! managing B2B2C activities and emerging markets expansion. 

Rafael Saavedra, Vice President of Engineering

During the past two decades Rafael has been leading globally distributed engineering teams on product development, technology strategy, system architecture, hardware-phone-cloud connectivity, analytics, machine learning, blockchain, IP and data security at various roles, most recently co-founder of Trace.Global (IoT, AI and blockchain-based supply chain traceability startup), co-founder and CTO of LookyLoo (AI for fashion), CTO of Drive TimeMetrics (a connected car analytics startup), director of technology for Aha Radio at Harman International(Samsung), and founder of GGT-Meridian, a software consulting and outsourcing company.


Rafael moved to the US 25 years ago to lead the engineering team of Liikkuva Systems, a GPS navigation pioneer startup, which was later purchased by Motorola. He was Motorola’s Navigation Software Architect, leading the development of one of the first-ever server-based GPS navigation systems for the UK and US markets, which later became OnStar Navigation. After Motorola, Rafael started GGT, a consulting firm in Silicon Valley, and was a technology consultant for Qualcomm and multiple startups. He founded GGT-Meridian in CA and Bogotá, Colombia, a software outsourcing company developing mobile, analytics, ML, IoT and blockchain. Rafael and his Meridian team held multiple international blockchain hackathons in 2018.


Rafael graduated as a BS in CS with highest honor at Colombia’s National University. He is named as inventor in various patents in geo-spatial, mobile, analytics, blockchain and connected car technologies. Rafael is based in the San Francisco Bay Area, California. 

Dennis Boyle, Vice President of Sales

Dennis Boyle has over 25 years of business experience with large corporations such as E.I. Dupont, Dade Behring and Siemens AG as well as startup companies such as Exalenz Bioscience and MedTest Dx.  Mr. Boyle's experience includes both sales and marketing and he has held multiple Senior Executive roles in Business Development, Corporate Accounts, Strategic Management, Corporate/Commercial Training and Development, Private Equity, and Operations.  In his last role, Mr. Boyle served as President of Spectra 254, in Danbury, CT.


Mr. Boyle earned his BA in Economics from Middlebury College.  He also holds a Master’s in Business Administration and a Master’s in Business Education from Southern New Hampshire University.  Mr. Boyle also received graduate certificates in Negotiation and Public Speaking from the Center for Management Research in Waltham, MA.  He also has a certificate from the Emily Post Institute on Business Etiquette and Ethics.


Mr. Boyle has also taught as an Adjunct Professor at the University of New Hampshire.  He also leads a local charitable group called the Newfields Helpful Hands, and a military charitable organization called the New Hampshire Military Mentoring and Coaching Group.

Kenneth R. Hoskins, Vice President of Operations

Ken Hoskins is the Vice President of Operations at NXT-ID / Logicmark and has been with the company since 2013. He has spent his career working in the operations segments of industry leaders such as Coca-Cola Enterprises and Bertelsmann Media worldwide. 


Before joining NXT-ID / Logicmark, Mr. Hoskins served as Director of Operations North America for Bertelsmann Media handling all operations for Microsoft and Apple accounts.

Major General David R. Gust, USA Ret.
Independent Director

General Gust presently does consulting work for his own company, David R. Gust & Associates, LLC. Between April 2007 and May 2009, General Gust was the President of USfalcon, a privately-held company working with the U.S. Defense sector, primarily in information technology. Previously, General Gust had served as the Manager for Federal Telecommunications for Bechtel National, Inc. from November 2004 to March 2007. Prior to that, he was the President and Chief Executive Officer of Technical and Management Services Corporation from 2000 to 2004.

 General Gust retired from the United States Army in 2000 after completing a career of 34 years of service. General Officer assignments included the Program Executive Officer, Communications Systems (PEO-Comm Systems), Program Executive Officer, Intelligence, Electronic Warfare and Sensors (PEO-IEW&S) and at Army Materiel Command, as Deputy Chief of Staff for Research, Development and Acquisition (DCSRDA).

Michael J. D'Almada-Remedios, PhD

Dr. Remedios is Chief Technology Officer of WorldVentures Holdings. Between January 2011 and September 2013 Dr. Remedios was Chief Information Officer for Arbonne International, a billion dollar global cosmetics company. From February 2009 to December 2010 he was a Vice-President at Expedia, Inc. and was responsible for all technologies, product development and technical operations for hotels.com.


Prior to February 2009 Dr. Remedios was Chief Technology Officer for Realtor.com and Shopping.com, a subsidiary of eBay, Inc. At eBay he was a member of the eBay Inc. Technology Board for eBay, PayPal and Skype. 


Dr. Remedios was also CTO at software company, Swarm-Mobile. He has a PhD. In Computer Control and Fluid Dynamics from the University of Nottingham in England and a B.Sc. In Physics and Computer Science from Kings College, University of London in England.

Daniel P. Sharkey
Independent Director

Dan Sharkey was Executive Vice President of Business Development of ATMI, a publicly traded semi conductor company from 2007 to 2014, and was responsible for expanding ATMI markets and long-term growth potential by identifying and delivering new strategic and product opportunities. Mr. Sharkey joined ATMI as Chief Financial Officer in April 1990 and continued in that position with the additional responsibilities as Treasurer and Secretary until 2007. ATMI was sold to Entegris in 2014 for $1.15 billion.


Before joining ATMI, Mr. Sharkey was Vice President of Finance for Adage, Inc., a publicly traded computer graphics manufacturer, from 1987-1990. From 1983-1987, he was Corporate Controller for CGX Corporation a venture capital-backed, privately held computer graphics manufacturer that merged with Adage, Inc. in 1987. From 1978 to 1983, Mr. Sharkey worked as a Certified Public Accountant in the Boston office of KPMG Peat Marwick. Mr. Sharkey earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Accounting from the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, Massachusetts.

Robert A. Curtis
PharmD., MBA

Robert A. Curtis is 35-year veteran in the biosciences industry. Dr. Curtis currently serves as a consultant to emerging technology companies. He recently served as the Executive Chairman and Director of the Trudeau Institute in Saranac Lake, NY, and prior to this he was Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Regional Technology Development Corporation, a non-profit organization in Woods Hole, MA, where he was responsible for identifying and commercializing technology from the Marine Biological Laboratory and the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institute. Dr. Curtis has been a founder and CEO of several companies, including HistoRx, Inc, a tissue proteomics company, Cape Aquaculture Technologies, Inc. which developed enhanced non-genetically modified fish, Lion Pharmaceuticals/Phoenix Drug Discovery LLC, a novel business model to develop and commercialize university-based technology from some of the leading biomedical institutions in the world.


He assisted in the founding of Environmental Operating Solutions, Inc, which applied denitrification technology to wastewater with the company being sold in 2017. He was co-founder of and CEO of CombiChem, Inc which was purchased by Dupont Pharmaceuticals and served as founding President and CEO of MetaMorphix, Inc., a joint venture between Genetics Institute, Inc. and The Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. Prior to these entrepreneurial endeavors, Dr. Curtis held senior management positions at Pharmacopeia, Inc., Cambridge Neuroscience, Inc., and Pfizer, Inc., He also served as Assistant Professor of Pharmacy Practice at the University of Illinois Medical Center in Chicago. He currently serves on the board or as an advisor to a number of private entrepreneurial companies and has served as judge for the annual MIT $100K Business Plan Entrepreneurial Award. He is Chairman of Fundraising for the Falmouth Commodores of the Cape Cod Baseball League.  Dr. Curtis holds a BS in Pharmacy from the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy, a Pharm.D. from the University of Missouri, and an MBA from Columbia University.

Sherice Torres

Sherice Torres is an inspirational leader with nearly 30 years of experience in marketing, brand management, strategic planning, and change management.


She currently serves as Chief Marketing Officer for Circle Internet Financial, LLC, a global internet finance firm that provides payments and financial infrastructure to businesses of all sizes. Previously, Sherice served as Chief Marketing Officer for Novi, the fintech division of Meta/Facebook, as well as in several senior marketing roles at Google - including social responsibility, kids and family products, Google Pay and Google Shopping. Earlier in her career, she spent nearly 15 years at Nickelodeon in a variety of leadership roles across consumer products, strategic planning, digital video and paid apps. Sherice began her career in the change management practice at Deloitte Consulting.


A mother of two boys, Sherice has a passion for revolutionizing the public education system and advancing academic and professional opportunities for women and people of color. She is a member of the Executive Leadership Council, an independent non-profit that opens channels of opportunity for the development of Black executives to positively impact business and our communities. Sherice serves on the board of Advance Auto Parts, and the sustainability advisory board of Allbirds. Sherice is a nonprofit board member for Breakthrough Silicon Valley and the Jack Kent Cooke Foundation. She also serves on the advisory board of The Colorwave and the Director’s Council for the VCU Brandcenter. Sherice graduated magna cum laude from Harvard University and earned her MBA at the Stanford Graduate School of Business. She is also a graduate of the Stanford Law School Directors’ College, the nation’s premier executive education program for directors and senior executives of publicly traded firms.

John Pettitt
Independent Board Member

Mr. John Pettitt brings a deep technical understanding of hardware and software combined with a strong entrepreneurial track record and brings with him 39 years experience in communications and e-commerce.  An internet pioneer, active on the internet since 1983, Mr Pettitt has been a founder and CTO of multiple successful companies. Mr. Pettitt has founded and taken two companies to IPOs -  software.net, the first internet app store and e-commerce pioneer (IPO, Beyond.com later acquired by Digital River); and CyberSource, a world leading payments and fraud detection company (IPO, later acquired by Visa). He has also founded and sold two companies - Specialix PLC, a manufacturer of communications and networking hardware (acquired by Pearl systems), and Relay Media, a mobile content optimization company (acquired by Google). Mr. Pettitt is the inventor of multiple foundational patents relating to e-commerce, fraud detection, and content distribution and management. Mr. Pettitt currently serves as technical leader for a large, multi-product team at Google.
